Is Island Breeze in the Philippines or Hawaii???!!

The correct answer to that question would be: Both are true :)

The beautiful thing about growing is the multiplication of leaders & team members. Right now our IB team from Perth, Western Australia are in the Philippines with the Impact World Tour. We have sent three of our team members to the Philippines, two will be on the IB Perth team and one will be dancing with GX International. The tour is in its 2nd week and has already seen thousands hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ!!

The Impact World Tour main events started on February 22nd with Team Xtreme International (they break bricks, bend steel bars in their mouths etc.) Our first show was on Sunday (Feb 24) in Mati at the Baywalk Park. Over 5,000 people attended our event. Right before the altar call we had a black out (which had happened during the previous nights performance), but thankfully it came on again after only 5minutes. I would estimate that about 1,000 people came forward during the altar call. After the show we were able to pray for many, including praying for the physically sick & seeing them healed!

*Just in case you might be confused*
Impact World Tour is made up of three teams- Island Breeze, Team xTreme and GX International. We are athletes from all over the world that come together for one purpose-to glorify the name of Jesus Christ throughout all the earth. As separate parts of the body we are committed to one another to support each team during their main event and at the end of each event all team members will go out to pray for those that come forward to acknowledge their desire to know Jesus personally. Therefore some testimonies are from other event nights, not just limited to Island Breeze’s show nights. We are one ohana (family) :-)

———————Testimonies from the Philippines——————-
We had befriended a lady and saw her come forward during the altar call at our show. She had very bad wounds on her leg, so we asked if we could pray for her . One of our guys got down on his knees to put his hand on her wound and started to pray. After that he asked how she felt. She said, “I felt the heat in whole of my body and my wound is stop hurting.” We could feel that she was more aware of God’s presence and that He really does answer prayer.  After that two of her daughters come and we we felt to pray for them. As we prayed God gave us words of life & encouragement for them. These words of love from the Father brought tears to their eyes.

During GX night, we had a black out just before the show was over. We challenged the audience to not leave but instead come forward and receive prayer. It was almost an hour before we got the power back, but the people still stayed because they were hungry for God. We witnessed more healings and even Muslim’s dedicating their lives to Jesus!

Happy New Year to all our friends and family around the world!

We greet you from the very cold, yet still beautiful, Hartville, Ohio. After a much needed break in December our team reunited in Ohio where we will be until February 1st.

Why are we here? For the past 5 years we have been the main feature of the Hartville Marketplace’s annual Hawaiian Lu’au. Although the weather outside is frightful, the people here make it delightful. We will be doing two shows and each will be filled with good music+good food which equals great fun :) So if you’re in the area please don’t hesitate to come and dance with us! The event is free to watch and there will also be games and prizes.

While we are here we will also have the privilege to share and teach about our culture in some schools. In February we will all head back to the beautiful (and warm) islands of Hawaii, which will be very nice for the Valle family as they have not been home since August!

We are very thankful for the year that has passed but are very excited and expectant for the year that is now. We pray that you, the reader, where ever you may be will grow in love for the Creator and step forward without fear into the things He has called you into!

God Bless!

United Kingdom [Scotland]

October 21-November20, 2011

If you have never been to Scotland, you must really try to go. It is full of beautiful people, history, landscape and… sheep :) (that last bit was a joke;-)

We started out in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire and the surrounding areas (Alloa, Dollar, Alva, Clackmannan) then went to the lovely coastal town, Oban. From Oban we ventured to Kirkudbright, Castle Douglas, Fenwick, Dalkeith and our finale was in Penicuik.

Many things happened that we had not planned for, such as being published in five Scottish national newspapers! The publicity was not positive and because of it many of our schools (we still had plenty of nursing homes to minister at:-)) and main venue for our last week were cancelled, but alas that did not stop us. We persevered. We prayed and united together as one body to do what we were called to do- love the lost, speak truth, hope, LIFE. Despite the seemingly dreary circumstances everything pulled together for an amazing last week of tour. Things began to fall into place effortlessly as fervent prayers were being answered left and right.

There have been so many testimonies of how God has revealed himself to those who not only attended the shows, but who we also met in town, nursing homes and even the gym!

It always amazes me that there is never enough room (or time) to share about the amazing things that God has done on each tour. Below are a few short testimonies from our team and some of the local church members. May your heart be encouraged and your love for Jesus be strengthened!

Blessings,
the IB crew.

(p.s. don’t forget to keep scrolling to read the testimonies :-)

– “A father who had changed his life around and been sober for 12 years had been praying for the salvation of his daughter. He brought her to one of the shows and during the altar call she went forward to accept God’s unconditional love and forgiveness.” -Male, Penicuik

– A husband had been praying for 12 years for his wife’s salvation. He was a volunteer usher (steward) during the show but invited her to come and watch with a friend. Near the end, when the opportunity was given to acknowledge a desire to know Jesus the man looked to where his wife was sitting but could not find her. Immediately he looked towards the exit. She was not there either. Then he looked towards the front of the stage…..and there she was. 12years of unrelenting prayer had finally been answered in one night.
After this story was shared, by the husband at a celebration service, one of our team members went up to talk to the man and his wife. Turns out the wife had first seen us perform at one of the nursing homes where we shared the gospel of Jesus…. – Male, Penicuik

– “People I never thought would respond did! Seeds have been planted and I’m so excited and grateful that you guys came to my town. We really needed this. In my school there’s drugs, alcohol abuse and kids sleeping around at age 12. I just want them to know that there is more to God than just singing hymns and sitting in a pew…God is REAL and he’s exciting!! I’m excited to see how the spiritual seeds planted will grow in the next 5 years.” from a conversation with a high school student who is also apart of the follow up for new believers in her town. – Female, Oban

– One night while talking to my host family, the daughter was sharing about how she’s had migraines since she was little. They were so normal for her to have but she figured God had a purpose for it. Upon moving to Oban two years ago the headaches had increased. I asked her if I could pray for her and she said yes.
As I was praying the Lord gave me a picture of a hook going in and out of her, as I showed her where I saw it she said she could feel it. God then had me prophecy Zachariah 4:10 over the family. The girl was completely healed of her migraines! The whole family was so encouraged and even more excited to see how God would use them and also move through us during our week in Oban. -Female, Oban

– Our host in Tillicoultry invited her grand-daughter to one of our shows. The grand-daughter used to be involved in church a lot when she was a younger but when she started high school things changed-new friends, new scene, and no one to really go to church with. On the night of our show, when they gave the altar call, she went forward and rededicated her life to Jesus, along with two of her friends that were with her. At the following show more of her friends surrendered their lives to Jesus, so now she has friends to fellowship and go to church with :) – Female, Tillicoultry

– It was the night of our last show in Clackmannanshire and I was asked to share my testimony on forgiveness. I was praying about it and knew I was meant to share, but didn’t know exactly how I was going to share my story. So the night of the show I was praying during our worship time, and God started to give me little words here and there but still never gave me the whole outline. So I just continued to worship and just felt Gods presence. It was my turn to go up and I just told Him, ok Lord be my words because besides the few words you gave me I have no idea how this is going to look. Went out started off with Aloha and my goodness, God just took it from there. He totally was feeding me the lines and I felt as if I was a spectator watching myself speak. So after the show ended I went out to see if God wanted me to pray for anyone in particular. A teenage girl after a while came up to me and started asking questions about the tour and our group. She said she had to go but I felt like there was something there. I asked if there’s something she wanted me to pray for her and she began to explain that she had caught a case and it’s been hard. She started crying, and I hugged her and asked what kind of case? She shared that she had been sexually molested and doesn’t think she could find it in her heart to forgive him for what he did. She was weeping so I just held her and began to pray whatever God gave me the words for. After I told her that forgiveness is for our freedom, it’s not right what he did but we need to let go so we can move forward and be free. Also, that God will be with her every step of the way, she’s not alone. There was such a glow about her after and I just know God did and is doing so much inside of her heart and spirit. Amen! It’s amazing what happens when we just say, “God have your way!”

– Our team was invited to minister at a church service on Sunday. Before the service God had given a few of us a picture of fire and healing waters. During the church service we were able to pray for the town and for the unity amongst all the churches involved with Impact World Tour, then we had a time to share what we felt the Lord had put on our hearts. Turned out that God had given three people in the church the same picture three and ten years ago! So the Pastor opened up the floor for anyone to come up who wanted prayer for healing. One of the people we prayed for had scoliosis in his lower back. After praying, prophesying and declaring healing over his body, we challenged him to do something he hadn’t been able to do with his bad back. Right there, before us and the entire congregation, he bent over and touched his toes for the first time without any pain. Praise God!! – Female, Alloa

– Although I have been in missions for the past 25+ years many of my family members do not believe in Jesus. My niece who I haven’t seen for more than a decade came to one of our events and gave her life to Jesus! :) – Female, Alloa

– After the shows the team normally goes out into the crowd to pray and talk with people. I was really excited and expectant to talk to some new Christians and pray for them; however, by the time I came from backstage most people had someone talking/praying for them already. I was happy that all the new Christians had people talking to them, but sad that there was no one left for me to pray for. Then I saw some friends I had met from the local church so I went and started chatting to them….we talked about normal things and prayed for healing over one of them, I didn’t think much of our conversation until I got an email from the other girl thanking me for helping her to have a more positive outlook on life. Despite my own “plans” not coming to pass, someone was still blessed! Yay Jesus :) – Female, Tillicoultry

//These are only a few of the recorded testimonies from our time in Scotland. Many people came to the events so naturally we weren’t able to hear them all. Glory to God that there are more than we even know. He is faithful!!

A wee testimony ::Clackmannanshire, Scotland::

October 26, 2011 in NEWS

Island Breeze is in Scotland! We arrived on Friday and have our first main performance tomorrow at Clackmannan Town Hall at 6.30pm.
Since setting foot in this great land we’ve been on the go. The weekend was spent being orientated, meeting new (and old) team members, Scottish ceilidh, and preparing our own hearts for the upcoming four week outreach, as well as adjusting to the time difference and driving on the opposite side of the road!

So far we’ve had 3 school assemblies and 3 nursing homes. Here is a wee testimony from one of the nursing homes from our first day….
On Monday we performed at a nursing (care) home. During our performance Rudy gave an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and then led those that wanted to in a prayer. At the end of our presentation we always go out and talk to the residents to say hello, give a hug or ask if they’d like prayer for anything.

There was an elderly man in attendance named Mark who had been especially touched during our performance. He watched us with tear filled eyes and at the end of the performance wanted to talk to Jose, one of our guy dancers. Mark began to tell Jose of his past….Mark was a police officer in his younger days and had a beautiful wife. It was during this time that he lost her to death. Six years ago he turned away from God and that day, during the performance he determined in his heart to surrender his life to God. That is why he could not hold back the tears, he said it was so good to feel God’s presence again. Jose was able to pray love and peace to cover him the rest of his days and that today was a new day of life with God. Mark smiled through his tears and said yes, it is. Thank you for everything.

Driving with Angels

-For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer.- (1 Peter 3:12)

During our tour here in Fargo, the faithfulness of God has been very evident over each of our lives. We are covered in prayers, and God has heard those prayers. At the beginning of our week a few of us were given cars to drive throughout the tour. I was given a minivan to transport Rayna and myself, and we gave multiple lifts to other team members throughout the week. Towards the end of the week we began to hear a clicking sound under the front axle of the van. At first it was not too loud, so we didn’t think much of it. We said a quick prayer to God asking for His protection, and than continued driving the van. We had an assembly about an hour away so we drove the van there and back, and then also recorded a few trips on the interstate.
The next day the noise was getting louder, and we began to get worried, and prayed even more. I approached the lady who was in charge of hospitality and who took care of any issues we may have with our cars. I explained to her the problem, and we decided it best that the owner take the van in to be seen by a mechanic. As the owner was driving the car to the auto shop she became frightened by the noise emitted by the vehicle, so she called the mechanic and got it towed to the shop. Once the mechanic checked the van out, he asked the owner if it had been driven over 2 blocks. She answered yes. He asked if it had been on the interstate at all, and she again answered yes. The mechanic then told the owner that there was no possible way that the van could have been driven over 60 mph. The wheel bearings were broken, and the tire should have come off the van. Basically, what he was saying is it was a miracle that we had driven the van and not had a tragic accident.

This was another reminder that God hears our prayers, and protects those who follow Him. If it was not for all of your prayers over our team, and our own prayers over the van, who knows if I would be typing this right now. It is humbling to me that God cares enough about me to spare my life, and the lives of the others who have rode in that van. It is also a reminder that our time here on earth is never guaranteed. Any second we could be taken from this earth. I also know that since God has given me another day to live, that I still have work that needs to be done for the Kingdom.
This is just one of many stories from the past weeks on tour in the Red River Valley. Satan has been trying to sneak his way into destroying our work, but he can not be victorious! We have a God who is so much bigger than we can even imagine! God’s faithfulness and provision is being displayed daily. Please continue to pray over our team for protection. And I’ll restate what I started this story with.

1 Peter 3:12 – For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer.

Aloha Eh!!

Our team has been in the beautiful nation of Canada for the past 4 weeks.

What have we been doing here??

Island Breeze has several operating locations around the world. One of these bases is located in Manitoba, Canada.  IB Manitoba invited us to join them as they ministered in different First Nation’s tribes and churches. We also had the privilege to support our Island Breeze Fiji family in their fundraisers as they prepare to launch Island Breeze in Fiji this winter.

Our main bases have been between Morris and Steinbach with visits to a few other small towns (Sagkeeng First Nation, Little Black River First Nation, Manitou, and a couple more places…). We’ve been ministering in various churches, First Nations, schools, youth groups and even in training our IB Manitoba crew in dancing and music.

Right now we are in the little town of Boissevain. We are partnering with Oceania Children’s Camps in their fundraiser to run Christian summer camps for the children of Fiji. They’re vision is to see the children of Fiji grow up with the knowledge that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that he’s not a boring god looking down on them from heaven but that He is a God who is interested in their day to day lives and actually wants to be their friend! Our team of 13+ the IB Manitoba crew (staff+their DTS) are camping out in the Reimer’s (directors of Oceania Children’s Camp) frontyard. They borrowed a bunch of RV’s- decked out with beds and heaters :)

On Saturday our team will be heading to North Dakota for Impact World Tour. A 3 week campaign hosted by local churches and businesses geared towards the community. Sharing a positive message of love and hope, the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is PRCS you might ask? Well, I’m glad you inquired. The Principles of Redeeming Cultures school (PRCS) highlights the significance of protocol and showcases the God given honour and dignity attached to these protocols by modelling their use throughout the school. Students will also be equipped with knowledge to identify their own cultural protocols and empowered to use them, not only throughout PRCS but beyond.

The fingerprints of God reside in every culture of the world. They are signposts left there by the Father that point us to Him in a way that is unique and relevant to the people there.
